This year we were just required to provide 4 (very important) blockmarshals.
Eventually (despite a fairly short time frame) were able to have.
Warwick at the Coroglen end of Coroglen Tapu Rd
Bruce at the Tapu end of same road
Jesy at Whitianga end of 309 Rd
Dale at Coromandel end of said road.
Jesy came down from Auckland on Friday night and stayed with me here and after doing his
10hr stint ( the stage was traversed 3 times) headed back to Auck on the Sat night - a 13 hr
day!!
Dale came from Tirau to meet Bruce at Thames, stayed there Sat night and home on
Sunday.
I had the best job, out the gate here about 10 am, onsite at Coroglen till about 4 p.m. (stage
used twice) then home !
